A typical stock battery monitor on mobile devices only notify you when your battery level is critically low (10 - 20%), and some devices may notify you if your battery is 100% charged full, if at all. Battery Alert 40 - 80 overcomes this shortcoming by providing the capability to notify at customized battery percentage levels, even when the app is not running. Lithium ion total overall battery life (not per charge battery life, which may vary) can be improved significantly when consistently kept charged at optimal levels, preferably between 40% and 80%. In contrast, frequent low discharging to full charging past 100% can put unnecessary strain on your devices battery and shorten its overall life. The default charge alert and unplug alert percent is set at 40% and 80% respectively. Nonetheless, these percentage settings are customizable to the users preferences, along with other settings. When the battery level falls below the specified charge alert, a battery alarm will sound in repeat intervals notifying the user that the battery is low. Similarly when the battery level rises above the specified unplug alert, a battery alarm will sound in repeat intervals notifying the user to unplug the charger. It can also be used for battery full charge repeating alarm by setting unplug alert to 100%. The app also has the capability to provide battery temperature alerts. Great app. The only issue I see is that mp3 alerts sometimes are not played in full, a second or so may be cut off.
This is one of the most useful apps on my phone. It notifies me when I'm getting low in charge, and saves battery wear and tear by letting me know when the charge level gets high. I also now use Chargie to automatically maintain charges and battery

When I installed, has a 4 star rating. I was skeptical with the rating. However, I noticed the specious negative reviews were not about specific deficiencies and leaned to the malicious side. The developer answers and provides assistance to those giving a low rating and/or poor review. Therefor I downloaded, read the tips section and used. This app is light on resources, does what it says and ad free. I really like this battery alert app. I purchased the $0.99 paid version for the custom alerts.
Not at all up to the mark. Alarm is not working at the stipulated set percentage. Poor app
I too have the Pro version mainly because it's a great app that well deserves the nominal fee. The informational links are extremely helpful. And it appears that Digimaster responds to problems quite professionally. Thank you for a good product!
